What's Happening In Oak Lawn
Farmer's Market June 5, 12, 18 and 25 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Shoppers will gather at Dumke Drive at 52nd Avenue where they can purchase farm fresh veggies and fruits, oils, delicious homemade jams, cheese, flowers, shrubs, breads, spices, coffee, tea, popcorn, clothing, soaps, jewelry, arts and crafts, and more. The farmers market also features speciality vendors such as Avon, Pampered Chef, 31 and Tupperware.
Crochet Club ~ June 11th and 25th at 2 p.m.
Adults & Teens of all skill levels are welcome. Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month in lower level meeting room C. Bring your hooks and yarn and any current project. Beginners bring an H hook and skein of yarn (any color). Visit the events calendar on www.olpl.org or visit the second floor Computer Center and ask for Patty. Summer StoryWalk (Ages 3-8 years with adult), Monday, June 24th at 10 a.m.
Head on over to Lake Shore Park, 9610 E. Shore Drive, to read the latest book on the StoryWalk Trail with Library staff and complete a craft with the Oak Lawn Park District.
