Atlas Geocaching Multi-Library Geocaching Competition ~ June 3 to August 3

Library patrons are invited to use clues and geographic coordinates to find hidden geocaches at participating area libraries. For each cache you find at a participating library, you earn a prize drawing ticket for a chance to win a $25 gift card.

Stampin' Up Cards, June 11th at 6:30p.m.

Esther Thoele of Stampin' Up will teach you how to use decorative rubber stamps and accessories to make personal greeting cards. Participants will create different themed cards each month. Yak and Yarn ~ Tuesday, June 4th at 6:30 p.m.

The Yak and Yarn Club is open to crocheters and beginning knitters as well.   6th grade - adult are welcome. Sessions are held in the library’s Reading Room. Beginning crochet students should bring an H/8 hook and skein of medium weight yarn; beginning knitters should bring size 8 needles and a skein of medium weight yarn. All others bring a current project you are working on to enjoy the camaraderie of crocheting and knitting with others. Evergreen Park Public Library

Tie-Dyed T-Shirts, June 24th at 2 p.m.
Looking for something to do with the kids and teens next week? How about tie-dye t-shirts? Monday, June 24th at 2 pm make a festive 4th of July, tie-dyed t-shirt. Please bring your own washed, white, cotton t-shirt. The dye stains, so wear old clothes and shoes. Meet in the staff parking lot behind the Evergreen Park Public Library.

Holy Cross/Immaculate Heart of Mary Marimba Ensemble ~ June 29 at 3 pm


The ensemble is comprised entirely of youths from Chicago’s Back-of-the-Yards neighborhood. The group’s repertoire consists of pieces from traditional Mexican and Caribbean folk songs to classical pieces.
