Driving Range at 50-Acre Park Is Open ~  10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Get out the clubs! Summer hours at 50-Acre Park (91st and Rockwell) are 10am-8pm seven days a week (weather permitting). Enjoy new putting green and refreshments!

Evergreen Park Farmers' Market, Each Thursday in October from 7:00-1:00p.m.

Yukich Field at 88th and Kedzie; Evergreen Park Mini-Bus is available for Evergreen Park Residents. The farmers' market runs through October 25th.

Stampin' Up Cards, October 2nd from 6:30-8:30p.m.

Esther Thoele of Stampin' Up will teach you how to use decorative rubber stamps and accessories to make personal greeting cards. Participants will create different themed cards each month. Bring your own scissors and adhesive. Register for each class separately. Pay instructor directly. Evergreen Park Public Library

The Yak and Yarn Club is open to crocheters and beginning knitters as well.   6th grade - adult are welcome. Sessions are held in the library’s Reading Room. Beginning crochet students should bring an H/8 hook and skein of medium weight yarn; beginning knitters should bring size 8 needles and a skein of medium weight yarn. All others bring a current project you are working on to enjoy the camaraderie of crocheting and knitting with others. Evergreen Park Public Library

Meditation: A Wonderful Addition to a Healthy Lifestyle ~ Oct. 11th at 6:30

Meditation can wash away a day’s stress and bring about inner peace. It is easy to learn and can have many lasting and beneficial effects. Meditation can bring about a sense of calm and balance that benefits both your emotional and physical well-being which will impact your overall health. After you meditate the benefits don’t end when your session ends. Join Renate Lanotte, MS LCSW who has been meditating for over 30 years for this enjoyable workshop. Evergreen Park Public Library

Oktoberfest with Chef Keith ~ October 24th at 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate the fall season and learn how to make some delicious Oktoberfest foods. This event requires a payment of $3.00 per registrant to attend. Registration for this event will close on October 24, 2018 @ 6:30pm. Evergreen Park Public Library
