A Christmas Story ~ Wednesday, December 12 at 7:30PM

This holiday film practices several lost arts: it’s a politically incorrect 80s comedy that still functions as a family film, and a story about a BB Gun-obsessed young boy narrated in folksy voiceover by that boy years later, as an adult. All Ralphie wants for Christmas is his beloved Red Rider BB Gun, but first he has to convince his parents that it really is a good idea to buy him one. He also must contend with his annoying younger brother, a school bully, and a series of misadventures that befall him and his friends. Get your holiday hats of choice on for this one. 1 Hour and 34 minutes, Rated PG.  Concessions, full bar, free parking, tickets $6 ($5 BAC Members). Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W 111th Street
